Feastful morning
I love brunch. On Saturday morning Joel’s mom and dad + my mom and alex joined us for a really festive Christmas morning brunch.
We had thick-cut maple bacon and really delicious fruit with honey yogurt.

I had a lot of fun thinking of christmas gifts this year. I love making things, sometimes I just don’t know when to stop.
Case in point, an innocent Sunday dawned and by the end of the day I had made 250 each of the chocolate covered cherries and buckeyes. Whew!

Holiday dinner
A while back we had the second annual Mosquito Fleet holiday dinner at our house. It was a booming success, if the fullness of my belly was any indication. We managed to stuff 15 people into the living room of our 580 square foot house. By the time we were eating dessert there were 18 of us!
There was so much delicious food, everyone brought such tasty treats and beverages. Joel was in charge...
8 days of Christmas
We’re smack dab in the middle of all our various Christmas celebrations. I’ve already eaten more delicious holiday food than I care to admit. We even got a white Christmas at my grandma’s house last Saturday.
